Job Purpose

The Upgrade Technician is responsible for after-hours systems upgrades for our company’s POS clients. The purpose of this role is to ensure no trading downtime within the user retail space.

Please note:

Junior candidates are welcome to apply, and consideration will be given to individuals who hold theoretical experience only.

Must Have

    • IT qualification or certification
    • Must be available for 3 months’ intensive technical training inside traditional 8-5 working hours.
    • Available to work 4 x 10 hour’ shifts weekday evenings from 4pm to 12am. Please note, times could possibly be longer.
    • Microsoft Skills
    • Software experience / exposure
    • Attention to detail
    • Valid license & Own vehicle

Nice to Have

    • POS / Retail / FMCG experience, even in an informal capacity.
    • SQL knowledge / exposure
